I mentioned that my parents surprised us with our BOB stroller. I am pretty sure I squealed like a small child on Christmas morning when I opened the package. I have read and heard so many wonderful things about this stroller that it was certainly on the MUST have list for Baby M. I took the quiz on their website and found out the Revolution was the best fit for our lifestyle. After debating about the color, we decided on the Navy one and we couldn't be more pleased with our choice. On Sunday, I went over to my parents house to help my mom with some things around the house. When I came back I was greeted to a beautiful fully assembled stroller, thanks to my wonderful husband. I did laugh when I noticed one of my childhood baby dolls strapped into it. Brian said he wanted to make sure this harness wasn't as hard to use as O'Malley's harness. I got a good laugh out of it. Deacon and O'Malley are still warming up to the idea of the stroller but we are confident they will come around. Especially when they realize that stroller = walks!
Without further ado... meet MR. BOB!

The best thing is we will be purchasing the infant seat attachment so we can use it from Day 1 for Baby M until much later when we are actually able to jog with the little man.
Brian had won two tickets to the hospital suite at the new BB&T Stadium for the Winston Salem Dash (formerly Warthogs) minor league baseball team. Since we hadn't had a chance to check out the new stadium, we thought this would be a great chance to do so. The game happened to be the evening of my baby shower, so we invited some friends along with us. I gave Traci (Brian's sister) my ticket for the suite and I was able to get lawn tickets for Jess, Sean, Jen and myself. Thankfully with Brian's tickets, we also scored a wonderful parking pass. This was a wonderful sight for two pregnant girls! However, the lawn seats were not comfortable. The "lawn" was a steep hill... we ended up walking around for most of the game and just enjoying the new stadium. The food was reasonably priced.. which was a big bonus! All in all, we had a good time and .jpg)

This past weekend, my mom and I traveled to Woodbridge, VA for Jennifer's Baby shower. Dear friends of the Goodales', Barbara and Amanda, hosted the lovely shower and they really outdid themselves. From the little booties made from Styrofoam cups with pink bows to the beautiful centerpieces and the delicious food, everything was perfect. Baby Bingo was played while Jennifer opened her gifts and it was a really fun game. Everyone was beyond generous to Jennifer and Baby Goodale. This little girl is going to be one of the best dressed babies around... which I know Baby M will love! Mom and I had a wonderful time meeting friends and family of Jennifer's in laws and catching up with those that we already knew. Even though J is deployed, he surprised Jennifer and Baby G with a a beautiful cross-stitched prayer that has been passed down in his family and his mom had it framed for him. He wrote a precious note to his little girl... there wasn't a dry eye in the room! What a wonderful dad-to-be! .jpg)

Jennifer was absolutely shocked and thrilled when we presented it to her. She couldn't believe it. We are so happy that she loved it and we can't wait for Jason to get home from being deployed to see it and his baby girl!.jpg)

The time, energy and love that went into the building of Baby M's cradle is what means the most to me. This is something we will always cherish. Thank you babe for building this for Baby M. I am so blessed and I love you so much!
